MP: we received a DDT that will be incorporated into the AUG29 load. we also have new target Y offsets especially important for ACIS-S observations to prevent the target crossing a readout node boundary. This appears to be an aimpoint shift from our recent safe mode in which there was an observatory temperature shift. SIGNIFICANT SOLAR ACTIVITY: after a weekend of quiet decay, sunspots 1271 and 1272 are growing again. Region 1271 is capable of producing C flares. Region 1272 developed quickly in the trailing spot section and may produce minor M class flaring. GOES X-ray flux: steady in the moderate mid-B range. GOT/IST: GRETA password change coming soon.
