Shift L3807. Start at 357:13:00 GMT = 08:00am 23 Dec EST End 10:00am 23 Dec SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 357.) PLAN ---- Continue running load DEC2109B. Finish obsid 11027, an HRC/LETG observation of RX J0806.3+1527 to follow up a previous detection of line emission to constrain the history of this degenerate binary system via element identifications and abundances. Then do obsid 12065, another part of the ACIS-S/HETG Eta Carina observation to study mass loss via line profiles, at various phases of the X-ray minima. Then do obsid 11824, an ACIS-S GTO observation of the thermally emitting neutron star RX J2143.0+0654 to determine more accurate timing and hence estimate of the magnetic field. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the past day, no issues. One stored command segment uplinked, on-board loads are good until 361:23:28. The monthly ephemeris update patch, 648DK, was run successfully. A slow ToO was accepted -- first observation is in JAN1810 loads, so no immediate impact. Sun quiet, with some A class X-ray emission. ACE low energy protons barely above background.
