ACIS: - Joy reported last night that obsid 10275 (CC mode graded) had stopped early and finished only 2.4 out of 10 planned ksec. - This observation was using a single chip (S3). Based on available data the ACIS team suspects a FEP reset similar to 4 or 5 previous occurrences during the mission. Realtime telemetry from the 8am pass covered the tail end of OBSID 10524 and 6 CCDs/FEPs were operating nominally. The descending leg CTI measurement OBSID 57305 just started and six CCDs/FEPs are operating nominally. Flight SW version 44 is still running and this is not believed to be related to the October BEP anomaly. Radiation: - B-class flare from sunspot 1012 - Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low for the next three days (13-15 February). - Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet for the first day (13 February) and partway through the second day (14 February). During the latter part of the second day and continuing through the third day (15 February) a favorably positioned coronal hole is expected to increase activity to unsettled levels with a chance for active periods.
