Finish obsid 10925, an ACIS-S observation of the starburst galaxy M82, as part of a deep mosaicing to study the starburst, hot gas, and X-ray point sources. Then do obsid 10690, a GTO ACIS-S/LETG observation of the ultra-compact X-ray binary 4U 1724-307 in the globular cluster Terzan 2. Then do obsid 10157, an ACIS-S observation of the ROSAT source 1RXSJ211727.8-101707 to search for isolated neutron stars among candidates identified by Swift and UV observations. ACIS focal plane temperature -119.5 degC. EPH temp: 115.28 degF NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS There was an OBC error flag set due to failing to confirm that HETG was retracted following obsid 10222. Indications are the the HETG is actually retracted -- the potentiometers read exactly as expected for retraction, as do other status. FOT/Mech will examine back orbit data to check that all status bits flipped at the expected times, and that the back emf indicates the HETG moved to retracted position. There will be a telecon and CAP review sometime prior to the 1905 comm pass, at which we must choose either to reset the OBC flag, or to stop the loads, or to do nothing. In the last choice, the obsid 10690 will be performed without the LETG and will not meet the science objectives. ACIS is in process to verify that the ACIS-S/ONLY observation of 4U 1724-307 does not pose any instrument risk. From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the past day. No issues. One stored command sequence uplinked, on-board loads good until 192:05:15. JUL1309A products are ready to circulate, but will be held up pending a decision whether or not to stop the present loads. Monthly ephemeris update will be uplinked on the afternoon comm. Thermal working group is cancelled for this week.
