Finish obsid 12225, an ACIS-S observation of Abell 0578 to study the role of cluster heating by a powerful radio source jet. Then do obsid 12312, an ACIS-S DDT observation of SGR 0418+5729 to measure its anomalously low magnetic field. Then do obsid 11762, an ACIS-S observation of SDSS J1201+2306 as part of a survey of rich, low redshift clusters to investigate scaling relations for use in cosmology. Then do obsid 11837, an ACIS-I GTO observation of 0FGL J1741.4-3046 as part of a project to identify Fermi gamma ray sources in the galactic plane. Then do obsid 11815, and ACIS-S/HETG GTO observation of GX 13+1 as part of an investigation to detect absorption line shifts in different states of this system. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the past day. No issues. Pre-approved ephemeris update CAP 648DZ was run. JUL2610A products were reviewed and approved yesterday. Wednesday night had some limit violations of the LAE2 thermistor. These are interpreted as thermistor failures and not an impact to the mission. The next warm MUPS test firing will occur next Tuesday. There will be a CAP review Monday for contingency halting of the firing. Sun remains quiet. Chandra celebrated 11 years since shuttle launch early Friday morning Jul 23, 1999. Here's wishing 11 more!
