Observing 'ZwCl 1829.3+6912' (obsid 10931) with ACIS-I. Continuing to work on the MUPS Tank Pressure Anomaly: - The MUPS tank pressure continues to be stabilized at about 217/218 psi, however it is very noisy and perhaps has a very slow trend downwards. One reading of 210 psi was observed during the past day. is toggling about this level (1 bit is 1.6 psi). - S/C momentum is still as expected - Testing the software patches to SCS 31 on ASVT (to allow use of A side thrusters in safe mode response) is complete, a test review will be held later today. - A CAP to close iso-valve 5 will also be reviewed this afternoon. - Discussions are still ongoing with tank (ATK) and pressure transducer vendor (Tavis). - There will be a status telecon later today. - COMM has been added to monitor the situation. -------------------------------------------------------------------- JUL2009A: 10931 0 ZwCl 1829.3+6912 2009:205:08:15:51.439 30.5 ACIS-I NONE 10271 0 SDSSJ130525.83+53353 2009:205:17:13:42.439 10.6 ACIS-I NONE T_E76 CAL-ER (56938) 2009:205:20:43:10.887 0.1 -- -- GG_76 CAL-ER (56937) 2009:205:23:19:12.221 23.0 -- -- G1_76 CAL-ER (56936) 2009:206:06:21:30.311 5.0 -- -- T_X77 CAL-ER (56935) 2009:206:08:20:49.083 0.1 -- -- 10134 2 Vela PWN 2009:206:11:36:59.083 38.5 ACIS-S NONE COMM: Support (GMT) BOT EOT Station Site Track time (local) --------------- ---- ---- --------- --------- ------------------------- 205/0945-1200 1045 1145 DSS-65 MADRID 0645-0745 EDT, Fri 24 Jul Notes from 9am Meeting ---------------------- Ops: - Remarks: - Current Configuration (as of 205/1300): In Radiation Zone NO Current SI ACIS-I Grating NONE Observation ID 10931 Target ZwCl 1829.3+6912 Altitude 107.4 kkm Desc Radmon Disable 205/20:16z Next Radiation Zone 205/20:44z to 206/08:20z - Supports: 3 Supports Completed (3 34 Meter, 0 26 Meter) - SCS's Loaded: CL207:2001 130 JUL2009A Good through: 2009:208:14:19:01.000 - CAP's / Procedures * CAP Number: * Time: * Title: * Notes: DSN DR's: * DR #: G109569 * Station: DSS-27 * Problem: Unable to get commands to S/C * Cause: DSS-27 station related (unknown) * Action: * DR #: G109570 * Station: DSS-24 * Problem: Could not turn off downlink at EOT * Cause: Unknown * Action: Sent turn off commands again - OPS DR's: * Problem: * Impact: * Cause: * Resolution: - TECH DR's: * Problem: * Impact: * Cause: * Resolution: MP: - Aug 3 loads out today for review Monday. Eng: - SOT/Radiation: - ACE solar protons are low (< 500). There is a small uptick in the rates, probably due the effects of a coronal hole. - Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low. - Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be at mostly quiet conditions for days one and two (24-25 July). Quiet to unsettled levels are expected for day three (26 July) due to the return of a recurrent high speed stream.
