Eng: - Late Saturday night there was an anomaly in which the IU spontaneously reset, causing an OBC reset and subsequent transition to normal sun mode. This appears to have been very similar to the Oct. 2008 IU reset. The eclipse on Sunday morning was handled using the eclipse contingency script and all behavior was nominal. On Sunday and Monday activities were carried out to restore the OBC to a nominal configuration after the reset, recover from NSM, maneuver to a cool attitude, and then to return to normal science. Due to the dwell at normal sun a number of units got hot - EPHIN experienced a new mission high of 135.8 F and a number of ACA components exceeded trending limits. Temperatures have subsequently recovered. - There will be an eclipse tonight at 12:22 AM. Radiation: - Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be very low. - Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be predominantly unsettled with isolated active conditions for the next three days (01-03 June) due to the coronal hole high speed stream.
