Shift L3947. Start at 132:12:00 GMT = 08:00am 12 May EDT End 10:00am 12 May SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 132.) PLAN ---- Continue running load MAY1010A. Finish obsid 11305, continuation of the ACIS-I observation of a galactic bulge field with deep optical imaging, to study structure and formation of the bulge. Then do obsid 11983, an ACIS-S observation of the old, oxygen rich supernova remnant SNR 0049-73.6 to study nucleosynthesis in a core-collapse supernova. Then do obsid 11834, an ACIS-I GTO observation of the unidentified galactic plane Fermi source 0FGL J1413.1-6203 in hopes of discovering a pulsar or supernova remnant. Then do obsid 11843, an ACIS-I GTO observation of Sgr A*, as part of a multiwavelength monitoring campaign of the galactic center to look for transients and study X-ray flaring and fluorescence. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: Two supports over the past day, no issues. One stored command sequence uplinked, on-board loads good until 136:05:00. MAY1710 products expected out late today for review tomorrow. Second eclipse, first of medium length, was nominal yesterday. Solar activity and proton fluxes near background level.
