S/C: all quiet. SIGNIFICANT SOLAR ACTIVITY: At midnight spotted region 11030 was on the visible solar disk. It was quiet and will rotate over the northwest limb today. In 3 days when solar rotation turns nasty sunspot 1029 toward Earth we'll see what it's got for us. GOES X-ray flux: background level - very low. Earth-directed CMEs in the past two days: none. GOT/IST: At LOS in tonight's swing shift we'll be pulling cables for future enhancements. we'll also bring down the database server for parameter changes.
