Shift L3776. Start at 328:13:00 GMT = 08:00am 24 Nov EST End 10:00am 24 Nov SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 328.) PLAN ---- Continue running load NOV2109A. Finish obsid 12031, an ACIS-I observation of the nearby open cluster M35, to study the relation of rotation to coronal flux and temperature as a function of various classifications of these cool stars. Then do obsid 12024, an ACIS-S ToO follow-up observation of the gamma ray burst 091020 to measure the jet break time and hence the opening angle and energetics. Then do obsid 11779, an ACIS-S observation of NGC 4742 as part of a survey of activity in galaxies for which the Black Hole Mass/dispersion velocity relation has been measured, to test the fundamental plane of BH activity. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the past day, no issues. NOV3009A products were released last night for load review at 2pm today. Preapproved CAP 648DI will be executed this afternoon for the monthly ephemeris update. Tomorrow morning preapproved CAPs will be run to set up for the eclipse season: 897 to enable and active SCS 29 to manage loads 898 to set the short eclipse flag to TRUE 1036A to clear the EPS glitch counters Quick look data: OBSID Target Time Comment ----- ------ -------------- ------- 11607 Mrk 421 326:09:31 ACIS-S LETG OK 12030 M35 326:11:27 ACIS-I NONE OK 11286 SDSS J120122.32+0211 327:01:38 ACIS-S NONE no obvious sources 10805 Abell 2199 327:04:27 ACIS-I NONE OK Next Comms: ----------- 328/1845-2100 1945 2045 DSS-54 MADRID 1445-1545 EST, Tue 24 Nov 329/0115-0330 0215 0315 DSS-54 MADRID 2115-2215 EST, Tue 24 Nov 329/1045-1300 1145 1245 DSS-24 GOLDSTONE 0645-0745 EST, Wed 25 Nov 329/1945-2200 2045 2145 DSS-27 GOLDSTONE 1545-1645 EST, Wed 25 Nov 330/0300-0515 0400 0500 DSS-65 MADRID 2300-0000 EST, Wed 25 Nov 330/1055-1340 1155 1325 DSS-45 CANBERRA 0655-0825 EST, Thu 26 Nov Orbital events: --------------- 2009:327:19:25:16.662 1422 EPERIGEE 2009:329:03:10:21.006 1423 EAPOGEE 2009:330:10:54:02.009 1423 EPERIGEE 2009:331:18:37:52.559 1424 EAPOGEE 2009:333:02:21:49.441 1424 EPERIGEE 2009:334:10:05:08.665 1425 EAPOGEE 2009:335:17:48:19.974 1425 EPERIGEE 2009:337:01:32:25.692 1426 EAPOGEE SNAPSHOT summary ---------------- Status at LOS, 328:12:36, was as follows: PCAD MODE = NPNT CONTROL LAW FLAG = NPNT Stars: = 5 FIDS = 3 RA = 92.383 deg Dec = 24.283 deg ROLL = 90.447 deg Format = 2 OBSID = 12031 SIM FA = -535 SIM TSC = 92903 (ACIS-I) DITHER = ENAB HETG = OUT (79.09 deg) LETG = OUT (77.21 deg) HRC-S HV is ON EPHIN Geom = VLD E150 = 90 800000 (RADMON E1300 = 37 1000 Triggers) MPC = 0 30 ANTI-CO = 24 247 Ascending through 122314 km.
