We got an approved TOO yesterday that will be scheduled into a later week. S/C: all quiet. We'll be doing the ephemeris update. SIGNIFICANT SOLAR ACTIVITY: no sunspots. GOES X-ray flux: is at the bprder between the very quiet A level and the quiet B level. CMEs: October 4-5: No obviously Earth directed CMEs were seen in LASCO or STEREO images. October 6: A slow halo CME was observed in LASCO images following a filament eruption in the northeast quadrant early in the day. The eruption hurled a coronal mass ejection into space (SOHO saw it) but not toward Earth. No geomagnetic storms are expected as a result of the blast.
