Shift L4102. Start at 287:12:00 GMT = 08:00am 14 Oct EDT End 10:00am 14 Oct SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 287.) PLAN ---- Continue running loadOCT1110B. Finish obsid 12809, an ACIS-S observation of the Seyfert galaxy NGC 262 to search for shock features associated with the radio lobes to assess if this is a common mechanism for feedback between the black hole and the galaxy evolution. Then do obsid 13145, an ACIS-I observation of the cluster of galaxies SLJ1634.1+5639, as part of a sample of clusters detected via weak gravitational lensing, to calibrate the scaling of the X-ray properties and test proxies for the mass. Then into perigee passage, which will include an ACA dark current calibration. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- ACIS focal plane is running warm,-117.0, out of gain spec even for S3. From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the past day. No issues. One stored command sequence uplinked, on-board loads good until 290:13:09. OCT1810A products were distributed, reviewed and approved yesterday. OCT2510 is being planned. A dark current calibration of the ACA will take place during perigee passage tonight. Sabina continued her reputation for delivering on-time quality with the arrival of her baby around 5:30pm EDT yesterday. Paul reports: "Both she and her new daughter are doing well." Paul is now acting as technical FOT manager, with Mark Baski as backup, for any program issues.
