SIGNIFICANT SOLAR ACTIVITY: At midnight there was 1 spotted region on the visible solar disk. Region 11029 entered another phase of quick development on October 26. Flares: C1.2 at 19:06, C1.3 at 22:50 and C1.0 at 23:33 UTC. This has become the most active sunspot of the year. GOES X-ray flux shows two more very brief C class flares today at ~0800 and 1000 UTC. CMEs: none.
