Shift L4116. Start at 301:12:00 GMT = 08:00am 28 Oct EDT End 10:00am 28 Oct SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 301.) PLAN ---- Continue running load OCT2510B. Emerge from perigee and do obsid 13155, an ACIS-I observation of the cluster of galaxies ACT J0346-5438 as part of a complete sample of clusters discovered using the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect to try to calibrate cluster masses for use in cosmological studies. Then do obsid 13146, an ACIS-S DDT observation of the CRAB Nebula to search for changes in the nebula associated with the gamma ray flare of Sept 19-21. Then start obsid 11101, an ACIS-I continuation of the observation of the type Ia supernova remnant G299.2-2.9, to study the structure and the distribution of ejected elements, to test the explosion mechanism. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: Four supports over the past day. No issues. ACA dark current calibration was carried out earlier today. Purpose was to assess effect of trapped radiation, as subsequent dark current measurements must be nearer perigee due to the orbit precession. NOV0110 products expected out later this morning, for a review late today or TBA tomorrow. Pre-approved CAP 682 will be run this afternoon to reinitialize thruster command processing. AFTER the status meeting CAP 1167 was approved, for the contingency actions during the Fall eclipse season (Nov 2 to 29).
