Shift L4072. Start at 258:12:00 GMT = 08:00am 15 Sep EDT End 10:00am 15 Sep SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 258.) PLAN ---- Continue running load SEP1310A. Finish obsid 12243, an ACIS-I observation of the cluster of galaxies MACSJ0140.0-0555 to study the interaction of baryonic and dark matter in a collision of clusters of galaxies. Then go through perigee passage, measuring ACIS gain and cti using its external calibration source. Then resume observing with obsid 12261, an ACIS-I observation of the cluster of galaxies ACT J0616-5227 as part of a complete sample of clusters discovered using the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect to use in cosmological studies. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the past day. Lost about 5 minutes of realtime data due to COG failure. Failed over to secondary COG to complete the pass. Simulation carried out yesterday included an unexpected safe mode trip due to different gyro bias settings in ASVT. HRC anomaly was properly responded and supported by HRC team. SIM will continue today with completion of the gyro swap procedure. (But ASVT is having some issues so the start may be delayed). A ToO was accepted yesterday so SEP2010 products were reworked. Expected out today for load review tomorrow. Power will be out at 60 Garden St. all day Saturday. Backup configuration at OCC can send out email alerts, and we expect to receive them on blackberrys, but SOT will not be able to receive or send email via computer.
