At start of shift, ACIS was doing an internal calibration, ACA was monitoring fidlites for flexure heating test, HRC was off and nominal, EPHIN was nominal. It was decided to use the other two 'B' engines for IPS-4, because of loss of RTDs (resistive temperature device). This means significant CAPs to reconfigure. The plan is to have the patches developed on the ASVT, and loaded on Chandra. The Diego pass, 1435-1600, did not work out well. There were many dropouts. The CAP 129 at 1535 resulted in not acquiring any fidlites - too much stray light. We will not use obsid 62738; early termination of ACIS calib. CAP 129 at 2002, first try gave 4 fidlites, but one in a background monitor location. After two more full field searches, same result. Then when we sent the command to enable the monitoring windows, as expected the fidlite in a monitoring window was lost, so we remain with three lites. We should emphasize that there was no change in procedure from previous occasions. See flt note 170 by Mark Freeman.
