As of 217:0521, HRC is off, EPHIN is nominal, and ACIS is doing an internal cal, which they were doing at the beginning of this H shift. Discussion about implementing a patch designed to cure the problem of ACA loss of fidlites. We understand that management is working to make this happen. Now is a good time to experiment with tracking fidlites, before the door opens and we must deal with stars as well. ACA was planned to do a dark current calibration, per CAP 161. Very good data quality is needed, but not assured. In fact, during the run, lots of dropouts occurred. The signal-to-noise started at 5 and ended at about 7. Dropouts decreased considerably. At end of ACA dark current, the fidlites were reacquired successfully. ACIS plans to run the internal calibration until GMT 1300.
