ACA was tracking four fidlites, HRC was on, low voltage power only, EPHIN was nominal, and ACIS was doing Flight Contamination source Monitoring, looking at the sources mounted on the back of the sunshade door. As of 1220, spacecraft configuration: IU-A, CTU-A, RCTUs A Side, OBC-A Online, OBC-B Offline; both OBCs flt SW 4.8 on-orbit image. PCAD: VDE-A IOE-A, ADE-A, SPE-A/B, FSS-A/B, IRU-1 = LO, IRU-2 = LO. Commanded attitude monitor enabled, autonomous unloading & RW momentum bias disabled, momentum monitor fault safing action (SCS #9) disabled, RCTU command wrap enabled, pointing is NSM (normal sun mode), 90 deg solar array angle, vacuum 7.6e-6 torr, link via Canberra-DSN direct-512-LGA-B. There was some discussion when we discovered that one of the gyro scale factor maneuvers planned for 225:0430-1530 would slew through GX5-1. This was not picked up by OFLS 6.5 constraint checking, but was noticed by Paul Goulart. There is a CARD for not looking at GX5-1, because it could damage HRC, but HRC will be out of the focal plane and without HV. We have been told that OFLS 7, which is now up on the 3rd string, will incorporate this constraint on the four bright x-ray sources for maneuvers in the future, when it isk implemented. The sunshade door opened successfully! We are continuing the Fine Attitude Initialization, with ACIS and ACA turned on and collecting data.
