A briefing was held on this plus the planned schedule activities for the next day. The problem was that the OBC star acquisition failed in the case where we are trying to acquire a star already being tracked, but in a different ACA slot. Short and long term fixes are being developed. 2) Operations continued in real-time-command mode while the above problem was being resolved. The SIM motion test was performed and the ACIS-S Plate focus test started. The plan is to complete this test in real-time command via CAP 269, then pick up some time tomorrow AM with the daily load, starting at the ACIS-S off-axis effective area tests. 3) It was noted in the Crude Boresight for ACIS-S tests (OBSID's 1051 and 1052) that the source was offset from the ACIS-S aim point. It was decided to perform a small maneuver between the SIM motion test and the ACIS-S Plate Focus. This maneuver is supposed to place the source on the aim point.
