ACIS stop science 17:57 Change to OBSID 166 17:59 At new position, get 5 stars, 3 fids. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Discussion of SIM focus reference. Analysis was referenced from the prelaunch nominal position of 172 motor steps. This is at +0.256mm from a nominal zero. The plate focus analysis shows ~-1 mm offset, or motor step -504. A fit to the ACF gave an offset of -1.13mm, motor step -595, and this is what the characteristics file in the odb has been set to. However, this may have been premature in that the ACF fit included some off axis points. Times of ACIS start and stop science are taken from their EGSE, and seem several minutes fast. A CAP enters new fid light positions, the -595 focus position, and an SI/alignment matrix into the data base for the next SCS generation. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com -------------------------------------------------------
