At first AOS, 0545, we were maneuvering - no stars tracking. By 0555, we had locked on with good stars and fids. ACIS started its science run apparently normally. 0618 We see the star in slot 7 appearing and disappearing at a fairly regular rate, with a period of ~12-14 sec. It disappears for 6-8 sec, then reappears. Its listed brightness is 7.98. None of the other stars or fids is doing this. 0629 Vacuum = 3.98e-6 torr. 0650 Slot 7 is still doing the same thing. 0824 Vacuum = 3.0e-6 torr. Slot 7 is still behaving the same. 0938 We again see the star in slot 7 appearing and disappearing at a fairly regular rate, with a period of ~17 sec.
