EVENTS DONE OBSID -------------- ---- ----- AOS 2210 1443 Saw 3 fids, 4 stars 2210 LOS NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- At 2210, we see 3 fids, 4 stars, obsid 1443, gratings out. This observation is "SN, SNR AND ISOLATED NS", conducted by CALIBRATION. It uses ACIS-I, CHIP I2, no gratings. The target is G21.5-0.9. RADMON issue: The reason for the recent report of unusual EPHIN readings was that the RADMON process in the OBC was shut off, or rather never turned on by the daily load. We have been trying to disable RADMON while we are in the radiation belts, and then turn it on again when we emerge. We now realize that it is being implemented by shutting down the entire RADMON process in the OBC. Also, the insertion of these commands is a manual activity, subject to operator errors. Running of CAP 508 to turn RADMON back on is a one-time fix. The safing group might consider a longer term solution. Evaluation of QL data done at 1999:319:23:23 -------------------------------------------- The web page and the book were examined. OBSID 580 is not in the book, nor on the web page. I checked with Craig, on duty dsops. It has been processed and looks OK. Actual integreation time is ~50ks. Craig will get it in the book and on the web. OBSID 967 should have been dumped by 319:16, about 7.5 hrs ago, so it's perhaps not overdue. EPHIN is behaving. See snapshot.
