EVENTS DONE OBSID -------------- ---- ----- AOS 2210 62309 Saw no fids, 5 stars, gratings out 2210 LOS NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- We had an alarm from the ACE EPAM proton data. It turns out that this was a false alarm caused by the combination of two events: a telemetry format change resulting from a spacecraft maneuver, and one of the detectors we are not watching (SWEPAM?) being switched off. If SWEPAM had been on, there would have been a flag to let us know the data were bad (thanks to Steve O'Dell for getting this information!). We are also informed that EPAM will remain on for the Leonid event, so we can rely on its data. No maneuvers are expected in the near future. The EPHIN P4GM count is very high(see snapshot). This is because RADMON is enabled 8 ks into the belts instead of being shut down 8 ks before, and we are at 39474 km altitude, descending. This error in the load is expected to persist for p26.
