Shift L129. Start at 333:13:00 GMT = 08:00am 29 Nov EST End 12:00 noon 29 Nov SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 333. In general times are rough, not precise.) PLAN Run load NOV2899e. Observing OBSID 77, HRC-S/LETG of CAL-83. At 21:38 we start CTI measurements prior to rad belt passage. Scheduled Comms: 333:14:00 to 16:00 333:22:00 to 00:00 334:05:00 to 05:45 334:13:35 to 14:45 EVENTS 14:00 AOS Status at 333:15:02, was as follows: PCAD MODE = NPNT CONTROL LAW FLAG = NPNT Stars: = 4 FIDS = 3 RA = 85.868 deg (CAL 83, supersoft source) DEC = -68.392 deg ROLL = 19.654 deg Format = 1 OBSID = 77 SIM FA = -990 SIM TSC = -99616 (HRC-S) HETG = OUT (81.0 deg) LETG = IN ( 4.8 deg) HRC-S HV is ON EPHIN: A-Leak = 0.2040 mu-a B-Leak = 0.0320 mu-a 16:10 LOS Status at LOS, 333:16:09, was as follows: PCAD MODE = NPNT CONTROL LAW FLAG = NPNT Stars: = 4 FIDS = 3 RA = 85.843 deg (CAL 83, supersoft source) DEC = -68.390 deg ROLL = 19.630 deg Format = 1 OBSID = 77 SIM FA = -990 SIM TSC = -99616 (HRC-S) HETG = OUT (81.0 deg) LETG = IN ( 4.8 deg) HRC-S HV is ON EPHIN: A-Leak = 0.2080 mu-a B-Leak = 0.0320 mu-a NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Star in slot 4 keeps dropping out of track. It is a bright star, I suspect it violates the upper brightness limit. This is a BAD feature of the OFLS/onboard software system -- a star at the correct position should be tracked unless it is so bright that it saturates the ACA pixels! Tracks up to 51400 total counts, magnitude expected was 9.2 with a bright limit of 6.938. 51400 counts is about 6.88 mag. Notes from 9am status meeting: FEP 0 patch was run, but there were no occurences of errors, therefore no information. 16 supports over the weekend, 19 SSR dumps, 5 bad were repeated, so all data was recovered. SOHO is having problems, will use extra DSN 34m times, we will systematically get switched to 26meter use. DSops reports that processing is being held up due to lack of definitive ephemeris files. FOT is about 4 weeks behind, will give it some attention. Jupiter observations with HRC/LETG are processed. Jupiter observations of ACIS are having problems with Level 0 telemetry decomm.. Jupiter HRC/LETG OBSIDs 961, and about 90 minutes of 1464, were lost due to SCS #93 being disabled following the inadvertent RADMON trip on Nov 26. This problem was found and corrected in real time, thus saving OBSID 1465 and most of 1464. FOT MPS is building products for DEC0599 load, products expected late Tuesday. OR list for DEC1299 is needed. Marv will call a meeting for 2pm Tuesday to plan the test groups for ofls 8.0. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com -------------------------------------------------------
