To:sot_shift from: Dan Schwartz date: 04 Oct 99 , 12:00 noon EDT Subject: SOT shift report, Shift L74 -------------- See http://asc.harvard.edu/acis/SOT_reports/sot-shift.html, or /proj/ascwww/AXAF/extra/science/htdocs/acis/SOT_reports/Oct_04_1999_L74.txt. Shift L74. Start at 277:11:00 GMT = 07:00am 04 Oct EDT End 12:00noon 04 Oct SOT Lead DAS Spac/Aspect FOT/Sci liason HRC ACIS (Times will be given in GMT on day 277. In general times are rough, not precise.) PLAN Continue running on Load P20. Doing AR LAC observations to study HRC-I spatial gain dependence on HV. Next contact will be 18:15 to 20:00 (2:15pm EDT). EVENTS NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Need to define CAPs for real-time operation to apply immediately, i.e., prior to the next Belt Passage Tuesday morning, to modify our instrument operations based on our revised concepts of keeping HRC at the aim point, with its door mostly closed, and with the gratings retracted. These CAPs would be ready to be run if we found we were in bright star hold, or safe mode, or if the daily load hadn't properly prepared the desired configuration for whatever reason. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com -------------------------------------------------------
