For runs scheduled by a series of ATS loads, where the OBSID is set at the same time as the first stored command is executed, if that first command is a "start science", the ACIS psci processing screws up. So there should be a delay of, e.g., 5 seconds, between the OBSID change and the execution of the first ATS command (paraphrased from an email by Peter Ford on Mon, 20 Sep 99 17:47:31 EDT). SOT lead will inform FOT & SOT mission planning. We did CAP 445 to "overlay obsid 22 with correct science mode" for ACIS. This is to correct the parameter file. Summary from 9 am meeting ------------------------- Rino reported several thermal points were reading unphysical values, located close to others that were normal. He will investigate with flight SW to see if there is a readout problem. We are reviewing PEA patch 39, the one to prevent loss of fidlites from cosmic ray hits, in preparation for uploading it. We presently plan the upload for the pass starting at 10 am Thursday, which gives us ~4 hrs to execute the upload and activation, and monitor the results. SOT lead is reviewing the patch documentation and will work with Linda Yester, Eric Martin and Tom Aldcroft to prepare the CAP.
