PLAN Continue running load APR0900e. Finish ACIS-S observation of the cooling flow cluster Abell 2029, OBSID 891, then observe the young energetic radio pulsar PSR B1757-24, OBSID 753; followed by CTI measurements surrounding perigee passage. Perform an ACIS-S/HETG observation of VELA X-1 after emerging from the radiation belts at 104:10:10. NOTE: this was the observation for which we had no fid lights. Data cannot yet be processed for the current week, since OBS.par files are not yet ready. OBSID 433 has not been processed yet due to the large gaps of missing data. Joy expects to do it this morning, so we can assess how much of the data is good, and how much needs to be repeated. Notes from 9am status meeting: Three contacts, 5 SSR dumps recovered all data. The modified load, APR0900e, to allow more measurement time for the ACIS squeegy mode test on day 106, was uploaded. On-board load is good through 106:23:32. Products were released last night for APR1600 load. Review today at 2:30pm. Products for the DEC1299 load, which is the test for the OFLS 8.1a patch, are expected out today so that a load review can be performed on Friday. Testing of the new guide star catalog is now planned for early next week. The FOT will do standard runs, and require no SOT support. We plan to run CAPs to update the on-board ephemeris coefficients, and to perform the EIA sequencer test today. Products are being prepared for the ACA dark current measurements. Hope to run this late next week. FOT will exercise the new fine attitude initialization procedure on the ASVT tomorrow. Planning for an April 21 demo run of the complete new safe mode recovery procedure. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com -------------------------------------------------------
