Will check status at next COMM which is at 032:1755. 2) Notes from 9:00am meeting: Operations (Ron Felice): - 3 contacts yesterday, on DSS-27, 16 and 66. Test of DSS-16 automation took place during DSS-27 morning pass. Could not get it to work so went back to 27. Still got dump out. Would like prior notification in future before such testing is to take place. Mission Planning (Dan Shropshire): - Test products from OFLS Release 8 out for 3 loads. Will have a review Thursday and would like to have all reviewed by then. Should pick a load to start using Release 8. - A meeting is being held at 9:30am today to go over OFLS Release 9 contents. S/C (Jeff Shirer): - Reported on Gyro telecon held yesterday. Kearfott said that the fact that the gyro 2 current was returning to the 103 ma level after excursions above that was a good sign. If the gyro were starting to fail there would tend to be a continual increase in current level. They also indicated that current levels up to 150 ma would not be a concern as long as the gyro was performing well. SOT (Bill Podgorski): - Discussed high background in OBS 864 S3 chip. Dan Schwartz was contacted about this and indicated that this happens sometimes and that this observation should go thru the normal ASC data processing. ASCDSOPS (Joy Nichols): - Three quick looks available
