Mission Planning (Dan Shropshire/Ken Gage): - Second review of FEB06 load to occur today - Flight Directors Board at 2:00pm today - Release 8 testing is under SOT review, need to ingest products into archive, need some mods to be able to do this. - Release 9 changes to be approved at today's FDB. S/C (Jeff Shirer/Eric Martin): - Fixed backstop output of star angles to look for (this is given to OC's). Now outputs all 16 possible stars/FIDS. - ACA reset problem noted yesterday was confirmed as a telemetry database problem. THERE WAS NO ACA RESET! Eric will work to fix this problem. SOT (Bill Podgorski): - Ran CAP 549. Results under analysis. ASCDSOPS (Joy Nichols): - No quick looks, printer is down. 4) Quick Look data review: OBSID Target Time Comment ----- ------ -------------- ------- 00368 RX J0720.4-3125 2000:033:03 HRC-S/LETG observation. Has odd looking square of background events centered on 0th order image with dimensions sligntly larger than the illuminated channel plate width. Mike Juda notified. Mike Juda explained the above oddity, noted yesterday: Upon examination of the event list, there is a very simple explanation: The previous observation, obsid 758, had a special set-up; it only accepted events that appeared in a square window that was wider than the window used in the normal LETG configuration and offset. The "square" of background events are events recorded prior to changing the windowing parameters. I believe that they do not have the aspect solution applied and go to some "default" sky coordinates. These events should be removed by the "good-time intervals" filter at a later point in processing.
