Ran CAP 549. Mission Planning (Dan Shropshire/Ken Gage): - Release 8 still under SOT review. - ACA Dark current CAL was scheduled for today but was cancelled due to fact that the field that they wanted to look at is occulted by the earth. This was discovered a while ago. CAL will be rescheduled week after next. S/C (Jeff Shirer): - Gyro 2 has been quiet the past day. SOT (Bill Podgorski): - Here is a brief explanation of the purpose and results from running CAP 549 (requested at the 9:00am mtg). Ran CAP 549 yesterday in am pass. This pass dumps the static portion of FEP memory which is being used to store diagnostic information for the FEP0 bias parity error problem. The problem in the past has been that FEP0 starts generating large numbers of bias parity errors, flooding the telemetry with these errors and disrupting the observation. The new ACIS FEP software is programmed to react if more than 10 of these bias parity errors occur. In this case it stops using the half of the chip which is generating these errors, thus allowing the observation to continue. Diagnostic data is also stored in memory when this happens. There were no errors observed when the diagnostic memory was dumped, which is a good thing, indicating that FEP0 is performing nominally. - Discussed correllation of OBA temperature gradient changes with observed FID light offsets. Decided to do this. ASCDSOPS (Joy Nichols): - Two quick looks presented, see below. 4) Quick Look data review: OBSID Target Time Comment ----- ------ -------------- ------- 00758 CRAB PULSAR 2000:031:01 HRC-S/LETG, looks good. 00745 RX J0720.4-3125 2000:033:02 HRC-S/LETG, looks good.
