The onboard load is currently good till day 040. Other segments to be loaded will go through end of day 044. The ops staff had a meeting at JPL. The timing errors have been identified. The delays from individual antennae at Goldstone have not previously been taken into account. Some antennae are 27 km different distance than others. Mission Planning: work on next week's load just beginning. We're not as far ahead as last week, because the FOT MP staff were on travel part of last week. We expect them to catch up this week, with a review on Wed. or Thurs. PCAD: An onboard ephemeris coefficients update is planned for today. Data: I checked on colossus (/dsops/GOT/input), and found the most recent to be Feb 7 00:00 2000_038_0035_038_0240_Dump_EM_17618.gz. DSOPS: A new feature has appeared in the data. Since we started operating with continuous dither, the quick look data manual processing interval, starting at "KALMAN STOP" now includes times at the beginning when the spacecraft has not settled into its final pointing, but the detectors are turned on. Previously, the detectors were not turned on, but the ATS's were changed for continuous dither. This results in the quick look data containing inappropriate intervals, like false sources at the wrong detector position. A new definition of processing interval start needs to be developed. Joy will communicate this to the data system people, in case it impacts the automatic processing. Also, the chage of home directories on Friday interfered with getting any QL processing done over the weekend. OFLS8 testing: evaluations of the review output are being received and evaluated. There is an issue about support of the review by SOT MP, involving setting up a test environment. C&C file: Charlotte reports that there will be an update to ground station locations and time delays. Evaluation of QL data done at 038 -------------------------------------------- The following observations from the last ten days should be available for review. If there is no comment after the entry, it means the image has not yet appeared in the book.
