PLAN Continue running May2800c load. Perform CTI measurement after ascending from radiation belts. Perform ACIS-S measurements of the narrow line galaxy NCG 5506, OBSID 357; and of a distant quasar subject to gravitational lensing by a foreground cluster of galaxies, PG 1115+080, OBSID 363. The remainder of the load will be a 3/2 day deep survey of the AXAF Southern field, OBSID 582, done with ACIS-I Next Comms: 154:11:10 to 13:10 154:22:00 to 23:00 155:07:50 to 08:50 155:16:30 to 18:30 156:02:05 to 03:05 156:10:30 to 11:30 156:18:30 to 19:30 EVENTS Status at AOS, 154:11:11 was as follows: PCAD MODE = NPNT CONTROL LAW FLAG = NPNT Stars: = 4 FIDS = 0 RA = 37.623 deg DEC = -66.341 deg ROLL = 149.985 deg Format = 2 OBSID = 62037 (In radiation belts) SIM FA = -467 SIM TSC = -99616 (HRC-S) HETG = OUT (79.8 deg) LETG = OUT (78.3 deg) HRC-S HV is ON EPHIN: A-Leak = 0.3760 mu-a B-Leak = 0.0600 mu-a 13:10 LOS Status essentially unchanged. Ascending through 53077 km. ACIS Focal plane is at -119.7, and we haven't started CTI measurement yet. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Only tracking 4 stars, should be 5. The ACA error messages from loss of track signal have caused the OBC dump overflow error again. The ACA GSE clearly shows repeated attempts to track. From the 9am status meeting: Second review of JUN0400 held yesterday. Revised products out and a review will be held at 2pm today. This is expected to approve products, so that the first segment of the JUN0400 load can be uplinked at the 6 pm EDT pass today. Following approval of JUN0400, the products for JUN1100 will be circulated this afternoon, anticipating a review at 2pm next Monday. ONLS/OFLS will be down for ~ 2-3 hours, starting 9:30am EDT this morning, for routine monthly backups.
