Load review at 2:00pm. Spacecraft Engineering (Jeff): - Guide star loss counter overflow explained. An attempt to acquire a lost (or never found) star will occurr once per second throughout the observation time which uses this star. A counter is incremented each time an acquisition is requested for this star. If it stays lost for more than 33ksecs, this counter will overflow and cause OBC errors. - One item in yesterday's anomaly was that the S/C momentum was higher than expected. This has been traced back to the inaccuracy of the solar pressure disturbance torque model (especially at low pitch angles) combined with accumulation of momentum from gravity gradient torque during perigee passage (we are now trying to keep the ACIS radiator cold, not minimize GG thru perigee).
