PLAN Continue running load JUN2500d. Finish ACIS-S observations of the bulge of the Sa galaxy NGC 1291, OBSID 795; and of the jet in the radio galaxy Pictor A, OBSID 443. Then do CTI measurements surrounding the perigee passage. The egress CTI will actually be Squeegy VII testing, run under CAP 625A. This CAP has been approved and is getting signatures. The goal of this test is to get the best energy resolution, but without creating any extra dead time (e.g., as happens when the vertical shifting is slowed). Scenarios for the near term (through end of August), medium term, and long term operations were defined. A weekly followup telecon will be held Wednesdays at 3pm EDT. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com -------------------------------------------------------
