In general times are rough, not precise.) PLAN Finish running load APR3000E, with OBSID 1708, ACIS-I observation of three distant clusters of galaxies around CL 0848.6+4453. NOTE: proprietary rights were waived for this observation! Then start load MAY0300b, to perform 2.1 ksec TOO observation at 124:21:26 (5:26pm EDT today), of the black hole candidate XTEJ1550-564, OBSID 680. That will be followed by CTI measurements surrounding the perigee passage at 2000:125:06:50:44. Therefore we are good to proceed with the TOO as planned. This is after 3 attempts -- can't get more than about 20 minutes data without too many errors building up. 15:56 AOS. All status essentially unchanged from above reports. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From 9am status meeting: Two loads uplinked covering the revised TOO schedule. Good until 126:14:30. Products out for MAY0700. Review planned at 2pm today. ONLS will be down 5am to 7am Friday for backups and reboot. The routine monthly CAP to update ephemeris coefficients is being prepared. Eric's SOP for ACE rates monitoring has been revised in response to comments, and will go to Flight Director board tomorrow. (NOTE: it is therefore not operative at this time.) ASVT testing planned for 1 hour at 1pm today. Test patches to stop bad dump. Test patches to stub and unstub so that they will then be immediately ready to use for the next safe mode recovery. Pass was terminated early because of inability to dump the SSR. Remaining time would not have been useful for this purpose. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com -------------------------------------------------------
