Why? It was explained that the new minimum acq and guide star selection now allows this, so it will naturally happen sometimes. The TOO target XTE J1150-564, had a flux of 0.26 Crab yesterday, based on 4 RXTE observations. From the 9am status meeting: 2 supports yesterday, no problems. 3 SSR playbacks (the extra was because one was so long). First review of the MAY1400 load yesterday had no major issues. There are some star issues. One field, Obsid 543, had to have stars manually selected -- only three were brighter than the 10.2 nominal limit. (However, we believe there is significant margin in this limit.) Products are being revised for 10:30 distribution and a 2pm load review today. A review of the CAP and procedure for the side B testing of the grating mechanisms control electronics (both HETG and LETG) will be held at 1pm today. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com -------------------------------------------------------
