One problem with DSS-46, had to go to 64kBits, at 142,000km. Problem report filed. - Uplinked 4 load segments. Good thru 139:1650. Three more to go in MAY1400B load. Next grating observation on day 139 (Thursday). Insertion of HETG at 139:0939. - Ran CAP 604, OTG checkout and CAP 329, momentum unload. - 3 supports scheduled today. Mission Planning (Ken/Kevin): - Ken working MAY21 load. - Kevin looking for MAY28 OR list. Spacecraft Engineering (Wallace/Eric): - Full checkout of OTG operations on B side was completed successfully yesterday and we are safe to proceed with B side grating operations. See shift report May_14_2000_M296.txt Shift M296. - Eric reported a problem with a star blinking in and out yesterday. SOT (Bill Podgorski): - Discussed follow-up to grating issue, i.e., prepare response to another limit switch failure should it occur. ASCDSOPS(Joy): - No quick looks today 4) In obsid 813 we have acquired only 3 out of 5 stars. The ACA keeps trying to re-acquire the other 2. Catalog specified 5 guide stars. Eric Martin indicates that magnitudes of two of the acquired guide stars were quite a bit fainter than expected. Perhaps the failed star acquisitions were failed due to the magnitudes being out of limits. We had only 4 of 5 guide stars for obsid 948. Camera is trying to search for fifth. FOT/SOT ACA people notified and will keep track of this, looking at all observations/acquisitions.
