This is presumably related to note 4 below. At 136:2043 UTC, it was noted that the ACA lost track of a fid light in image slot 0, following an apparent cosmic ray hit on the ACA CCD. CAP 447 was run, to verify that the ACA fidrate patch is still loaded and operating. It is still running. The CCD operating temperature and integration time in the ACA are as expected. Quick inspection of the CCD noise level in the ACA indicates that it is as expected. 4) In obsid 893 we have acquired only 4 out of 5 stars. The ACA has been failing to lock onto a few stars (both acquisition and guide) because the OFLS characteristics were recently changed to pass a tighter magnitude passband to the ACA for stars, to accompany the new, improved AGASC 1.4. In response to the higher rate of ACA tracking failures, the May1400 load is being regenerated with a wider magnitude limits on the star catalogs. Subsequent loads will also use wider magnitude limits. We expect to reload May1400 during the long Rho Oph observation (obsid 637). 5) We watched the acquisition for obsid 637. All 4 acq stars were successfully found and converted to guide stars.
