PLAN ---- Continue running load OCT3000c. Finish ACIS-I OBSID 547 of the cluster V1701+6414, to determine H_0 and q_0. Do ACIS-S observations OBSID 2052, a deep census of X-ray sources in M31, and OBSID 794, a search for GALACTIC FOUNTAINS AND SUPERNOVAE IN the normal spiral galaxy NGC 891, and then prepare instruments for perigee passage and do CTI measurement. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS ACE rates are high, about 10,000, but steady. We have about 20 hours exposure left this orbit -- if the rates triple before the next pass at 12:30pm we should consider if action is necessary. P4GM is also higher than normal for current orbital position, but ~30 times less than trigger level. OBSID 547 was deliberately offset by -7.75 mm in Z. From the 9am status meeting: Yesterday, 3 suuports, 3 dumps of SSR all successful. There were some commanding difficulties encountered, and they seem like the secure shell problems which have cropped up before. One load segment was uplinked, only one more to go for the OCT3000c loads. On-board loads are good through 309:16:30. Revised products for NOV0600c were sent out earlier this morning, there will be a review at 2pm today. New software is running on squirt. SOT leads, and HRC/ACIS/ACA teams, should check that real time data is flowing to the appropriate EGSE in the TST room. The import to DB3 failed yesterday. String 3 is not available today as the situation is investigated. It needs to be solved by 7pm tonight, or it will impact the ONLS/OFLS promotion planned during the long Comm gap tomorrow. There is an ACA telecon at 10am this morning: 405 244 5060 1165#. Tomorrow will be a telecon to discuss the unexplained DPA-A turn-off. Scheduled for 4pm EST, 405-244-5060, pin 1165#. Jeff Shirer is leading overall team, Bob Goeke is the lead ACIS member. Briefing for SIRTF team continues through mid-afternoon today. Thanks to all who have presented, especially for your patience with the agenda delays which in fact reflect the interest of the SIRTF team in our experiences.
