PLAN ---- Continue running load OCT3000c. Instruments are safed for perigee passage, then will start ACIS CTI. No comm this pass. We have an extended comm gap for installing ONLS/OFLS upgrades. Next Comms: 307:18:40 to 20:20 307:23:00 to 00:00 308:07:30 to 08:30 308:15:45 to 16:45 308:23:25 to 00:25 309:04:00 to 06:00 309:15:00 to 16:00 Orbital events: 2000:307:18:06:52.029 171 ORBIT PERIGEE 2000:309:01:50:14.645 172 ORBIT APOGEE 2000:310:09:34:31.506 172 ORBIT PERIGEE EVENTS ------ SNAPSHOT is down, no past status. (BUT see correction from Rob, below) NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS SNAPSHOT is down. Was this due to reconfigurations or testing of the new 3.7.1/9.0 ONLS/OFLS?? ACE proton rates have been trending down very linearly and slowly for past 24 hours. Currently we are safed for perigee. With current rates and trends we will certainly continue the stored load. From the 9am status meeting: Two supports, two good SSR dumps. Last segment of OCT3000c load was uplinked, on-board loads good until 311:01:26. NOV0600d revisions were sent out -- just cleanups, so a full load review is not needed -- PCAD, ACIS, and OPS are required to confirm. NOV1300 is in work. FOT/mission planning is "sweating" whether the Aql X-1 TOO with the LETG will be called for that week. Dark current measurement is now scheduled for the evening of Nov 20. ASVT testing scheduled for tomorrow afternoon. Promotion of OFLS 3.7.1 and ONLS 9.0 has been going well since last midnight. This afternoon at 4pm is the ACIS DPA power-down meeting: 405 244 5060 passcode 1159# ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 800-759-8352 PIN 1636502 or e-mail 1636502@skytel.com ------------------------------------------------------- CORRECTION from Rob Cameron: Date: Thu, 02 Nov 2000 11:51:03 -0500 From: Rob Cameron Dan, just a correction to your shift report. the snapshot is not down. The shapshot archive shows correct pages to the end of the last DSN contact. However, some spurious realtime data (test data) has flowed to psicorp and been decommed by acorn, which generated 3 spurious snapshots, since the end of the last DSN contact. There is no flag in the data to indicate if it is real data or test data. We could try to add intelligence to try and discriminate between real data and test data, but I don't know enough about the contents of the test data, nor the possible contents of future test data. The ACIS and HRC realtime pages have the same problem. - Rob
