Observing NGC 1291 with ACIS-S (obsid 2059). Run descending leg CIT starting at 312:1609 then go thru perigee. Solar radiation levels are very low now (flux of ~50) but Kp is high and we are near the belts. Telecon last night to assess high Kp level (see 9am meeting notes). Decided not to intervene. User 3rd string to reset pointers and terminate COMM. Problem fixed by re-booting command server. Mission Planning (Dan/Ken): - Verification of offline 1 with new software uncovered one problem; could not run mission comps (state vector specifically) due to liscense problem. May use 3rd string to run new state vector comp if problem is not resolved quickly. Need to resolve this before 3rd string is released for testing new software. - Ken expects to have products out for NOV13 load this AM, using offline 1. S/C Engineering - SOT (Eric/Bill): - OC called last night due to high Kp (7.0). Telecon held at 9pm local. Used new (relatively) tool which interprets Kp into radiation dose (protons) (see http://asc.harvard.edu/mta/orbit.html). Predicted dose before shutdown for ACIS CTI/perigee passage was under 2.0E+9, so we decided that no action was needed. Is now 1.65E+9 at 312:1540. DSOPS(Jen): - Several quick looks (see below). GOT(Chris): - See discussion above re offline 1. - Need to backup DB1. Will do after end of COMM. Meetings, etc. - Review of CAP 674 held after 9am - Load review at 2pm. 3) Quick look data: Seq # ObsID It Target start time SI Grat Comment ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 600203 02069 00 NGC 1700 2000:308:23:10:01.378 43.4 ACIS-S NONE 700320 02130 00 3C 207 2000:309:11:42:31.990 38.0 ACIS-S NONE 600180 02046 00 M31_1 2000:310:16:57:00.247 15.0 ACIS-S NONE 600183 02049 00 M31_2 2000:310:21:16:07.851 15.0 ACIS-S NONE 700368 02178 00 3C15 2000:311:01:59:08.922 28.0 ACIS-S NONE 400105 01027 00 SMC X-1 2000:311:23:49:52.078 6.0 ACIS-S NONE
