Separate the narrow line core from the broad component. Determine whether the narrow component is produced in an accretion disk or from further out in the galaxy, also pin down the relative orientation of the accretion disk and torus. Then do OBSID 00644, RX J0925.7-4758 2000:319:22:28 ACIS-S HETG. Tightly constrain parameters like temperature, gravity and abundances to decide between a white dwarf, neutron star or black hole. It will include the Aql X-1 TOO to be done this Saturday. There are two DSN contacts scheduled: prior at noon and subsequent at 9 pm local time. The command loads need to be regenerated before a load review to be held later today. The ephemeris update is ready, & planned for uplink this afternoon. S/C: ASVT status - the testing for the ACA dark current operation is not complete. ASVT is now up & running, commands have been received, but more needs to be done. The ASVT test is planned for Thursday/Friday. The ACA dark current test is planned for Monday, 6 pm. Rino reports ACIS monitor temperature thru perigee is back to minimum. Dan Shropshire will discuss at ACIS ops meeting Thurdsday to consider changes in perigee orientation. GOT: - SOT: Looked into plan for upcoming TOO; had received an email that seemed to indicate both LETG in and LETG out. The right answer is *in*. Cuckoo test succeeded in getting many consecutive frames. Another is planned for the Nov2000 load. MP will clarify plans with Paul P. for Nov2700 load. Grating software reqmts doc. & des'n spec received from West Coast. Review meeting planned for this Fri. 11/17. Will conflict with preparations for TOO grating observation on Sat. SOT Leads will organze to handle the work load. ASCDS: Obtained partial result for OBSID 2077 - many aspect intervals. More to come. Meetings: EPS training, 3:00 today.
