Submit comments by email, prior to a load review probably Monday. New copy of tape of data recovered from Greta crashed-disk is expected today, will try to restore during the 16:00 to 21:40 LOS period. EMK will be point of contact for the ONLS machines XWIN1 and XWIN2, for their disk systems upgrades next week. Due to rising ACE solar proton rates yesterday, we had a tagup telecon at 10pm EDT last night. Fluxes were decreasing again, and we decided that there was no compelling reason to stop the load at the next Comm, at 0440GMT (12:40am EDT). Although our warning alarm at fluence 1.0 x 10^9 tripped during the night, fluxes were lowering by that time, to below 10,000. As of this mornings shift, rates were down to a few thousand, and there was no need to consider stopping the observing sequence. We would very much like to keep this load running, because of two 6Ksec coordinated observations of SMC X-1, with HST, at Oct 13, 4pm EDT and Oct 14, 11am EDT.
