The EPHIN P4GM rates are higher than usual, but less than 5% of the RADMON threshold. The Chandra Radiation Model (CRM) indicates that Chandra is in the magnetosheath, and thus not directly exposed to the solar wind. Propagation of the CRM into the future indicates that Kp would have to average 4 or higher for the remainder of this orbit, to accumulate 2 x 10^9 protons (in the 100-200 keV energy range) on ACIS before its scheduled safing for perigee.
