No other unusual states were noted. Appropriate ACIS team members were notified, as well as the Flight Director, and a team assembled. After some discussion (while the SSR dump was taking place) it was decided that it would be useful to command DPA-A back on. At approx. 19:30 the command was sent; however, at that point our telemetry stream from DSS-66 went bad, so ACIS was unable to determine the effect of the command or even see the command echo. DSS-66 was never able to regain solid telemetry, so support was ended at the original EOT time of 19:40. OC requested some additional time on another dish, and we were given time on DSS-27. With configuration time, and a reconfig for a lower downlink rate due to spotty data, solid telemetry was regained at approx. 300:2030 GMT. After establishing that ACIS was in a reasonable state given the earlier commanding, the decision was made to upload appropriate code: SOP 61002 [DPA side A ON command only from this procedure] SOP 61083 Basic operating patches SOP 61010 Start housekeeping run CAP 548 Reset ACIS FP Temperature (see note 3) CAP 574 Start science run (basic CTI SI mode) The result is that the current observation (OBSID 1561) will actually begin at ~300:2150 GMT, and will have a slightly different SI mode than in the load (S3 on rather than off is the major difference.) 3) Note that the warm reboot of ACIS caused by running thru this set of procedures resulted in a FP temperature of -119C rather than the desired -120C, since there is an offset between setpoint and actual temperature. CAP 548 sets the setpoint to -121C to achieve an actual FP temp. of -120C.
