Notes from 9 am meeting ------------------------ OPS: There was a problem with the DSN SCP at Goldstone during one of the SSR playbacks yesterday. The OC was not told of the problem until after the SSR pointer had been reset. Potentially, the entire playback dataset was lost. Further analysis shows 8800 minor frames of telemetry are lost, although analysis is continuing by JPL engineers. SOT: Radiation low. SOT is working on method for tracking Chandra state, and providing alerts if state observed in real time telemetry does not match expected state from mission planning data products. SOT is working on an improved real time radiation monitor, which will accomodate the model of 100-200 keV protons in the Earth's magnetosphere, developed at MSFC.
