REAL TIME OBSERVATIONS UTC OBSID ----------------------------------------------------------------- none Notes from 9 am meeting ------------------------ OPS: Passes 9 over the last 3 day(s) Dumps current Data loss - Load is good -> 108:00:30 UTC CAPs - Next passes 1700, 0200 MP: APR2202 load products are out - email review later today. There will be a sitdown review of the OFLS 9.2b test load at 2:00 EDT. S/C: EPHIN was barely above its yellow temperature limit on Saturday for a while. Nothing serious. There will be a CAP review for the EIO/EPHIN glitch counter software patch at 9:15 EDT tomorrow, Tuesday. GOT: There are now four GRETA machines in the new environment. On Friday we worked on getting the Matlab software going in the new environment. We expect completion today. We have reconfigured 88% of the PC hardware and 87% of the software. DATA: Very prolific quick look analysis. SOT: Proton rates are low. There was a long duration M class flare on 14 Apr 03:42 UTC, with an associated enhancement of GOES x-ray flux. The LASCO movie showed no associated halo CME, however, so we probably won't see a proton flux enhancement. GOES x-ray flux is very low. There is a low chance of a CME arriving within 96 hrs and a high chance of M or X class flares in the next 48 hours. Active Region 9906 has potential for producing major flares in the next few days, and is aligned to direct protons towards us.
