We expect to resume with the AUG19D load: OBSID 04361, RXJ1720.1+2638 2002:231:21:16, ACIS-I NONE - A NEARLY RELAXED CLUSTER WITH A FAST MOVING CORE? Previous Chandra observation showed two X-ray features, on the opposite sides of the X-ray peak, that strongly indicate motion of the cluster core. RADIATION SUMMARY ----------------- Solar proton flux is high from a CME on 16 Aug., but decreasing. There were no CMEs yesterday. There were several lesser x-ray flux enhancements yesterday. There were two hard proton events in the past few hours, at ~230:22 and ~231:12 UTC. These could lead to soft proton spikes later today or tomorrow. Plan A: resume at ~2100 UTC today; uplink at the 1800 pass; review at 9:30 EDT. Plan B: uplink at 0055 or 0815 tomorrow. S/C: The fall eclipse season is done. There will be an earth transit operation tomorrow. GOT: - DATA: - SOT: There were several lesser flares yesterday. X-ray flux had no major events yesterday, but two hard proton spikes in the past ~12 hours. Low probablility of CME to impact earth within 96 hours. High probability of M and X class flares within the next 48 hours. This load is very similar to the C load, except 3224 was deleted. It starts with OBSID 4361 at 231:20:48:33. We need a CAP to enable radmon & scs107. Plan B: to be called AUG20; uplink at 0055 or 0815 tomorrow. Kevin will prepare this option, too. There will be a radiation tagup telecon on 405 244 5060, pin 1165# at 2:00 EDT today.
