Doing obsid 2758, ACIS-S observation of SNR 0103-72.6, a bright supernova remnant in the SMC, to search for a pulsar-powered synchrotron nebula. Then do obsid 2811, an ACIS-S/HETG observation of the anomalous X-ray pulsar 1E1048-59, to look for a proton cyclotron feature. Then do CTI measurements prior to perigee passage. No comm this shift. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Yousaf reports: "There were three 'trips' this morning of the 1stat6st, 1stat2st and 1stat5st, which were reported as '0'. These are the ACIS bilevel status bits: 6 BEP FIFO: 0=full, 1=not full 5 BEP CPU state: 0=halted, 1=running 2 Software startup: 0=watchdog, 1=normal Of course #5 could be serious but as by the end of the pass the run was progressing smoothly with the status bit 5=1 (ie. not in reset), I attribute the 'trips' to simple telemetry corruption. It would nonetheless bear watching during the next pass." From the 9am status meeting: Three supports, no problems. Another segment of AUG2602D was uplinked, and on-board loads are good until 242:19:16. There was an issue with the eclipse timers for the SEP0202 load. This is fixed, and products will be out shortly this am, for an email review today. Brent will start work on the SEP0902 load. ASVT testing was successful yesterday, to verify loading of eclipse patches. The EIA sequencer self-test CAP will be run tomorrow. It is a pre-approved CAP which runs periodically and therefore doesn't need a separate CAP review. ACE fluence monitor tripped alarms at ~2:40am EDT this morning, for an accumulated fluence of 1 E9. However, the flux was holding steady at 1E4, and at that rate would only accumulate another 4E8 before inserting the HETG at ~18UT today. So no telecon was necessary. Since then ACE fluxes have decreased to ~7000. The SIM simulation debrief previously announced for 9:30am EDT this morning has been moved back to 10:30am EDT this morning.
