Observing '0806+20' (obsid 3236) with ACIS-S to determine whether it is a normal or failed galactic cluster, or possibly an optically faint quasar. At end of comm, manuever to 'QUEST 0928-0213' (obsid 3139, ACIS-S, NONE) as a canditate Quasar 2, an obscured quasar with a hard spectrum. Radiation levels are moderate. Three M class flares have occurred in the past 18 hours. More are likely. These events have now produced climbing soft proton rates (ACE EPAM P3 around 2200), although given the time remaining in this orbit the risk of exceeding a limit are small unless another major flare were to occur. NOAA SEC: Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to remain at moderate levels. Isolated low-level M-class flares are likely. Region 9830 could produce an isolated major flare during the period.
